Many are the Gods and Goddesses and Demons and Deities who time forgot. The Forsaken are an order of Monks devoted to the preservation of those faiths on the cusp of oblivion. They worship the lost, the forbidden, the dying and the departed, channeling strange magicks unknown to the rest of the world.
The Forsaken are a Prestige Class available to Monks, and are able to worship and devote to deities unavailable to other classes, but conversely, are unable to worship the standard Pantheon. They gain unique spells and improved spellcasting abilities, but do not gain access to counters or other advanced martial techniques. Having turned their backs on the known Gods, they are not eligible to become Priests or Paladins as Monks are.
Like all Prestige Classes, they retain the original class's Prime Requisite, in this case, Dexterity.
