Syntax: cast 'discordia'

A somewhat fringe group of Shizaga's worshippers have finally completed a powerful spell. It is obvious that it provides protection of a magical nature but while we know it has other benefits too, no one is exactly sure what these are!

The enclosed note from the priests didn't help much:

TO PERFORM THE TURKEY CURSE:

Take a foot stance as if you were an immortal hobbit preparing for
fisticuffs. Face the particular greyfaced you wish to short-circuit, or
towards the direction of the negative aneristic vibration that you wish
to neutralize. Begin waving your arms in any elaborate manner and make
motions with your hands as though you were trying to mime how to eat
an elephant. Chant, loudly and clearly:
                    GOBBLE, GOBBLE, GOBBLE, GOBBLE, GOBBLE!

The results will be instantly apparent.

This is a powerful pantheon spell. Any single cleric can only maintain (i.e. be the caster of) one of these spells at any given time.

What it does?

  • Improves Save vs. Spell by some amount,
  • "Improves" area spells by applying random amount of random damage types,
  • Causes single target spells to sometimes do much less damage (-50%) or more damage (+50%),
  • Appears to give the same bonuses at Lord and Hero
  • Who knows?

One special benefit of this spell: if a Cleric has Discordia up and both the Cleric and another player monitor each other and that other player is resting, when the Cleric shifts, the other player will shift along with the Cleric and that other player will have no lag on planing. This is especially handy for planing Berserkers (or other tanks).

Per comments in chat, Malaclypse considers this the strongest pantheon spell.
