View source for Gold In Bank

This field shows how many gold coins a [[:Category: Characters |character]] has stored in a [[:Category: Banks |bank]]; [[:Category: Gemstones |gemstones]] are automatically converted into gold coins when [[Deposit |deposited]] and from gold coins when [[Withdraw (command) |withdrawn]].

[[:Category: Characters |Characters]] may either [[Deposit |deposit]] or [[Withdraw (command) |withdraw]] money, either as [[Gold In Hand |gold in hand]] or as [[:Category: Gemstones |gemstones]], at any [[:Category: Rooms |room]] that is [[:Category: Room Types |flagged]] as a [[:Category: Banks |bank]]; banking may also be done remotely for a fee via [[Demonbank |demonbank]].

Unlike [[Gold In Hand |gold in hand]], gold stored in a [[:Category: Banks |bank]] can not be pilfered by [[Thieving Mobs |thieving mobs]] and will not add weight to a [[:Category: Characters |character]]'s [[Inventory |inventory]]; however, it is not as readily available as [[Gold In Hand |gold in hand]] while [[Buy |buying]] things.

[[:Category: Characters |Characters]] may view their gold in bank using their [[Score |score]] [[:Category: Commands |command]].
