There is a chance of lasting damage to the [[:Category: Weapons |weapon]] if you bungle this [[:Category: Skills |skill]].  There is no guarantee the [[:Category: Poisons |poison]] will infect the target on every hit, or even every [[Rounds |round]].  Especially damaging attacks such as [[Backstab |backstab]] or [[Murder |murder]] are much more likely to transfer [[:Category: Poisons |poison]] than a normal hit.  Once poisoned, the victim will experience [[Hit Points |hp]] drain and various negative affects.
