When cast in battle, Dread summons the victim's worst fear, and makes it believe it cannot hope to win. Thus, most monsters will turn tail and flee if they are able, unless it is painfully obvious that the Psion is outmatched. Dread cannot be cast outside of combat.

Prerequisite(s): Fear.

Syntax: cast 'dread'.
