Sorcerers, being sorcerers, like to mar everything around them. This is yet one more way to do so. By violating an object, you twist it away from the goodness of the world and make it an artifact of evil. Casting this spell does require heavy use of the cackle social. It will raise the level of an item.

Prerequisite(s): Corruption.

Syntax: cast 'violation' <object>.

See also Dark Flag. This spell will add the Dark Flag to an item. An item which already has the Dark Flag cannot be violated.
