In the northeast region of the land, eastward along the mountain trail, there lies a rocky wasteland which is said to be populated by beasts both terrible and fierce. It is said somewhere within or beyond the wastes a powerful wizard has set up a magical land of which this wasteland is but the outer edge, a daunting barrier to discourage unwelcome guests.
