Staff-type objects have four values.

  • Charges, Maximum: This value determines how many times this staff may be brandished at most before being consumed. It will decrease by one (unless it is larger than 10) each time this staff is recharged.
  • Charges, Current: This value determines how many remaining times this staff may be brandished before being consumed. It will initally (usually) equal this staff's maximum charges (above) but will decrease by one each time this staff is brandished. It will be reset to equal this staff's new maximum charges each time this staff is recharged.
