[[Wear |Wearing]] such [[:Category: Objects |objects]] to obtain desired affects can have certain advantages over possible methods such as [[Cast |casting]] [[:Category: Spells |spells]] or [[Quaff |quaffing]] [[:Category: Potions |potions]], as (1) nothing needs to be [[Practice |practiced]] and no [[Mana Points |mana]] needs to be used, (2) nothing needs to be consumed and (perhaps) replaced, and (3) such [[Affects |affects]] have no fixed duration and may be easily added or removed at will simply by [[Wear |wearing]] or [[Remove |removing]] whichever [[:Category: Objects |object]] produces them.  Doing this can also have certain disadvantages, however, as (1) these [[:Category: Objects |objects]] may prevent other desired [[:Category: Gear |gear]] from being [[Wear |worn]] and (2), unlike [[:Category: Spells |spells]], [[:Category: Objects |objects]] take up some [[Inventory |inventory]] space and may become lost or damaged over time.
