Note that those who know bashdoor may instead, from Borgin, go [w], [s], [w], 6w, 2s, {s}, [d], {d}, n, w, {n}, using bashdoor to open all locked doors, after which they may give an ancient tome to Marlot just as described below. Also, Characters who prefer to do so may get a mine pass level one by completing Mt. Durr's Mine Pass Level One Quest rather than by buying it.
From Borgin:
- Get an ancient tome from ground.
- Open w.
- Go w.
- Open s.
- Go s.
- Open w.
- Go 3w.
- Open s.
- Go s.
- Open n.
- Go n, 4w, 2s.
- Unlock s using a mine pass level one (or use bashdoor).
- Open s.
- Go s.
- Open d.
- Go d, n, 2w, n.
- Get a mine pass level two from her corpse.
- Go s, 2e, s.
- Unlock d using a mine pass level two (or use bashdoor).
- Open d.
- Go d, n, w.
- Get marlots key from his corpse.
- Unlock n using marlots key (or use bashdoor).
- Open n.
- Go n.
- Give an ancient tome to Marlot and receive a flask of Marlots Ol' Special.
