Looking at the pages shows the following:
Written in an older dialect, you can still make out the following brief passage from the journal... The young master has shown a great appetite for learning as of late. He has spent countless hours pouring over my meager collection of histories, absorbing every last bit of knowledge from them. He can quote from Herbok and the Chronicles of Larkham. He has also expressed interest in the Academy in Thalos. Perhaps, the Great Library could help him find the peace he deserves. And... in time, with his apptitude, he could be a most welcome and worthy member of the Order.
