Tantrum

 Syntax: cast tantrum
 
 To the deranged mind of a Fury, the protective spells that keep most
 adventurers alive serve only as a burden. With this spell, they consume
 a protective spell and recycle it into mana. Tantrum is exhausted for a
 short time when cast. Tantrum will first remove Sanctuary, then Protection
 from good/evil, then any spell with an AC bonus. Whatever spell is removed
 with tantrum cannot be reapplied for a short time.
 
 The mana gain is often quite a bit larger than the mana the removed spell
 took to cast, in flagrant violation of magical law. If Furies have an
 explanation for this discrepancy, they have so far refused to share it
 with Wizard Guild attempting to audit this spell.
 
 Tantrum does not function without Wildmind.


Comments

This spell seems to be mainly for removing Sanctuary to get additional benefits from Wildmind. Despite what the help says, it gives very little mana – 31 for Sanctuary, less than half of its cost.
