Some mobs carry or guard treasure items, which are high value items that can be sold to jewelers.
In addition to the Jeweller in Midgaard the Grocer (enw from the Jeweller) will also buy treasure items. Having multiple places to sell items is good as if the shopkeeper already has the item they will pay about 60% less.
