Disambiguation pages are used when more than one page shares a single name.
For example, in Avatar MUD, Panacea is the name of both a potion and a spell; so, here in Avatar Wiki, three pages are used for Panacea: Panacea (potion) for this potion, Panacea (spell) for this spell, and Panacea to help Wiki visitors to find whichever of these two pages they may be looking for. This third page is called a "disambiguation" page.
