- The best manifest one-handed weapon is Crom's Pointy Stick. Next best is the 30/30 high max Subjugator. After that it's the Silver Sword. Psis sometimes use the Jaranon great sword, Ant Chakram or Pure Psi-Blade. If you can transmute any these weapons you can offhand one as well.
- For tanking, the Gray Staff and the Katar Forged From Kzintium are best.
- For bladedancers hitting the best cutting (slicing or slashing) weapon of low enough weight is the Sword Of Ascension (weight 5, +18dr/hr). A one-handed slicing weapon called Braintickler (weight 3, +22dr, +15hr) was found in Astral on A nagging notion. Worth considering using runed Astral swords for AC as well.
- The best manifest piercer is Lonewolf's Claw. The 1st tier piercer is the 25dr Ancient Dragon Claw or Long, Glinting Knife. The 2nd tier piercer is the Ruby Dagger or the Stiletto "Poignant Memories", 3rd tier is the Fire Dagger, 4th tier is the Netherworld Dagger, and 5th tier is the Diamond Dagger. In addition, for the price of 700 qp, you can turn Crom's Pointy Stick into a high max, high dr piercer.
- The two best two-handed sharpenable weapons are both 20/40. These are the Sword Of Yorimandil, Restored (double weapon) and the Chain Of Thorns (chain weapon). Which one is better depends on whether you prefer the disarm bonus of the chain or the ability to parry & riposte with the sword. After those two, the next best is the Iron Barbed Flail.
- The Pick Of The Mastador is a two-handed sharpenable 10/40 weapon which does NOT do double hit, but could be used by a powerswing race.
- The best bzk weapon is Silver Githyanki Staff (32 dr). It requires a demonic gem from Bo'Vul's Vault. 1st tier bzk weapon is the Staff Of Karnath (25 dr). 2nd tier is the Staff Of The Lower Planes. 3rd tier is the Staff Of Prophecy.
- Hafted weapons are Heavily Tarnished Scythe from Patriarchs' Gulch (25 dr), Glass Halberd (20 dr) from Citadel Arcadia, The Sting that Time Forgot (40 dr) from Memory Lane.
- The best weapon for Paladin is most likely the Greatsword (35hr/35dr and up to 3 bonuses) provided by Aleryia. For the lord variation, Simply remake it using the information contained on the sign in Aleryia's Room
