Since time immemorial the fabric of existence has been created and torn asunder by conflicting traits. Wise men ponder whether these aspects of power gave rise to the Gods or whether they were inexorably drawn to them but it is known that it was the Gods who fashioned the Objects of Power.

These mighty objects were then infused with the raw essence of each of the fifteen aspects to become perfect physical representations of the attributes which govern reality - and maintain the Legendary Realm.

Even without sentience these artifacts draw ever more power directly from the aspects they govern. The potency of these objects cannot be overestimated and as such there is a constant struggle to maintain control over their influence which now extends even to their divine creators.
