The martial arts convey such a knowledge of self and pain that a capable student can learn to heal himself or another just by directing concentration toward the desire to heal. To use this skill, cast it like a spell; that is, cast 'medicine'. Many classes can learn the basics of this spiritual healing process. However, Monks are so fully devoted to this sort of restoration that they can cure poisons and diseases with this spell. When medicine is used in this way, one cast will cure one effect of the poison or disease, and thus multiple casts are required for poisons or diseases with multiple effects.

Prerequisite(s): none.

Syntax: cast 'medicine' <character>.
