Poison is the stock and trade of any good Assassin. This skill allows them to modify a weapon to carry poison, or to re-poison a poisoned weapon which has lost its bite. Required for the job are a poisoning tool kit and a poison item. The poison item will determine how many doses of what kind of poison are imbued. Only piercing weapons can be poisoned, and a weapon cannot be sharpened once it has been modified to carry poison. A high quality tool kit and high dexterity and intelligence will make this task much easier. There is a chance of lasting damage to the weapon if you bungle this skill. There is no guarantee the poison will infect the target on every hit, or even every round. Especially damaging attacks such as backstab or murder are much more likely to transfer poison than a normal hit. Once poisoned, the victim will experience hp drain and various negative affects. To remove the poison from a weapon, type POISON <weapon> REMOVE.

Prerequisite(s): Rogue Lore, Weapon Lore.

Syntax: poison <weapon> <poison-object>.
Syntax: poison <weapon> remove.
