They are typically found living on the fringes of human civilization, co-existing with the kobolds they are sometimes mistaken for. Their lack of wit and intelligence is matched only by their feeble strength and poor health. They are viewed at best as pests by the other races, and CURSED by the Gods. They are easily frightened, even by direct sunlight!

Rumors exist that some imps have found a way to evolve to a higher form, but the secrets of this process have been suppressed by the Gods.
