With this discipline, a skilled employer of psionics can use the power of his or her mind to affect the morale of his opponent. If the attempt succeeds, the enemy will be overcome by an artificially-inspired awe and will simply forget to fight. Aggressive monsters will revert to their true nature after only a brief lull in the action; however, there is a chance of a slightly more permanent toll being taken on the combat abilities of those present. Be wary: this spell can also affect players in the room. Heroes may wish to note that AWE has the same effects as the spell CALM.

Prerequisite(s): Fear.

Syntax: cast 'awe'.
