Many mobs carry gold coins which serve as AVATAR's currency. You can expect to find gold on humanoid or sentient mobs, rather than on animals.

Some mobs carry or guard treasure items, which are high value items that can be sold to jewelers.

Some mobs carry lots of gold, but keep it safe in a MOBA issue lockbox. These are typically locked, and often trapped. The more difficult they are to access, the more gold is stored inside.

These objects are a bit different than other objects because, when gotten from the ground or from a mob's corpse or whatnot, they disappear and become part of one's Gold in Hand. They are somtimes found together with Gemstones.
