This is the standard race of the world. Above all other races, they are the most prolific and seem to be the most durable. They are very adaptable to any situation. Unlike the other races, they have no significant advantages except that they are the most common of the humanoids existing in this realm. As humans are the dominant race, they all are quite adept at haggling with shopkeepers to bring down prices.

  • Well-Suited to Be: nothing.
  • Ill-Suited to Be: nothing.

Diplomatic Corps

Humans may participate in the Diplomatic Corps every 10 levels at lowmort. All humans should report to Bob when they are ready to begin.

Comments

Human is the run-of-the-mill race, not terrible at any particular task, but also not good at it either.

Hp-wise and mana-wise, humans are poor, compared to any specialist race like giants or elves. They do not have a racial damage modifier, nor an archery modifier, nor a stealth modifier. They also lack natural armor or the spell-casting no-fail or cost-discount attributes of some other races.

Their singular racial ability, the haggle, is practicable early by virtually every class save a special few, and overall humans are considered to be good in only one thing - leveling fast.

Thus, experienced players will make a human to reach remort levels as quick as possible and then remort into any of the available remort races, turning humans, as a race, into remort fodder.
