This spell inflicts damage on the victim. Its level on your slist gives an idea of the damage it produces.
Prerequisite(s): Cause Serious.
Syntax: cast 'cause critical' <mob>.
This single-target damage spell is third of four that clerics may learn between level 1 and level 50. Because clerics specialize in casting defensive rather than offensive spells, such offensive spells as this one are not often useful but clerics may still find it worth learning. Characters of many other classes may learn this spell at hero tier but will find it practically useless.
